Hello, my friend, I wanted to drop into your feed today briefly and share some really big, really exciting news with you. If you haven't already listened to yesterday's episode with Justin Moore, I wanted to let you know that it just so happens to also be the first video episode of this show. It's beautiful, I'm so proud of it and I want to tell you a little bit more about it just in case you haven't already given it a look on YouTube. Because here's the thing, I think you're gonna be surprised by the way that we've built and designed this video show. So if you're listening to this, and you're thinking, Jay, say no more, I'm going to check it out. Awesome. There's a link in the show notes or you can go to creativeelements.fm/youtube, that's creativeelements.fm/youtube. But if you want or need to hear a little bit more then just keep listening. To be honest, it took a long time for me to come around to doing a video version of the show. Because when listeners tell me they love Creative Elements, they will usually tell me they love the way it's edited. They talk about the production value of the show. That feedback has always meant a whole lot to me. And it's the reason that the show has had a lot of the success that has had at least I think so. I put a lot of work into making it stand out. And it's worth telling other people about it because of it. My worry with video was that I wouldn't be able to reach the same standard when compared to other video podcasts. The most successful video podcasts are shot on location in studios with the guests. And the other remote video podcasts either still have a big studio team or they're super average, to be honest, they're not very visually compelling. I think we've seen enough zoom recordings. Basically, I didn't want to betray the quality of the audio products by putting out a very average video product. But then my friend, Connor Conaboy pitched me on bringing the show to YouTube. And he had a plan which was very, very key. He wanted to make the show feel native to YouTube to match the quality of the audio product and make our guests look really good too. YouTube presents a huge growth opportunity. I love the idea of getting the show in front of new listeners by leveraging the second largest search engine in the world. And we've crafted a really visually entertaining product for you to check out, including an opening animation that I just love. I'm obsessed with it. It's by Austin Saylor, Austin's worked with ConvertKit, Pat Flynn, Charlie Murray, Cartoon Network and more. It is incredible and I can't wait to watch it with every single episode. We have rebuilt the entire production process for both the audio and the video show. Connor, Nathan and I got together and we changed the entire process to make sure that we could produce both at a really high level. They mirrored each other as closely as possible. And it didn't drive us crazy or ruin our own productivity or schedules and make us resent this thing. But with the video show, my goal is to make these 60 minute interviews as visually engaging as a 60 second TikTok. I know that may sound crazy but Connor has been working really hard to get us there and I couldn't be more proud of what we've been able to put together. So I invite you to check out Creative Elements on YouTube. The channel is brand new, so every new subscriber helps a lot even if you're still a little skeptical. The link is in the show notes or you can visit creativeelements.fm/youtube, that's creativeelements.fm/youtube. Subscribe to the channel, check out our first video episode featuring Justin Moore and leave a comment, say hello, let me know that you're listening. I'd love to respond. I'd love to see who is listening out there. Every bit of support is seen and deeply appreciated. I'll see you over there.
