Great show but the new ad model is destroying the experience

I really love how well produced these shows are. The interviews are done very well and I often feel the interviews include a lot of things I haven’t heard the guests been asked before on other podcasts/interviews.

Recently the show started automatically splicing in ads, they feel totally unrelated and there’s something worse. The show’s audio is very well produced but these ads very often come in blasting my ears. The audio levels don’t match and they always seem to be based on where I downloaded the episode (IP region).

The “normal” sponsor reads are much less intrusive. I hope the show will go back to just using those.
